"Branching Out" with Poetry: The Concord Poetry Center

The poetry reading will
be held in conjunction with Fruitlands 2008 exhibition, "Branching Out," which includes Joseph Wheelwright's sculpture installation "Tree
Figures," a gallery exhibit entitled "Forests Interrupted," and other
ongoing events celebrating trees in our landscape.
2007 Poet-in-Residence Susan Edwards Richmond will introduce Helen Marie Casey, Tom Daley, Linda Hoffman, Joan Kimball, Moira Linehan, and Joel Moskowitz. The poets will read tree-inspired work as well as other poems from their collections.
The reading will be held in the Picture Gallery, among lush landscape
paintings, with Wheelwright's towering sculptures standing sentinel on
the surrounding hillsides. A reception will follow.
The event is free to Fruitlands Museum and Concord Poetry Center
members, and with museum admission.
